Notes

This version is essentially "Three Hearts Between Three Lions", being a small 1 2 trio in the center of a larger 2 1 trio. It represents the legendary Holger Danske, whom Poul Anderson borrowed for his novel "Three Hearts and Three Lions". He never blazoned Holger's shield beyond the title description. The colors here are taken from the Royal Arms of Denmark. I have been playing with various blazons for years and years. I think I like this layout best.
